The designers Floriana Gavriel and Rachel Mansur behind the cult-favorite accessories brand Mansur Gavriel are at it again for their fall/winter 2016 collection. During their second New York Fashion Week presentation, they introduced new bag and shoe styles that quite literally popped against a homey scene blanketed in camel, which served as the perfect neutral canvas.
Preppy penny loafers, smoking slippers, glove-style pumps, pointy-toe mules, and block-heeled boots make up the five new shoe styles. As for the bags, two new silhouettes were featured—both equipped with a top handle, both structured in shape, and both equally covet-worthy.
“We design the collection with the mindset that it grows each season,” say the designers. “We wanted something easy, elegant, beautifully made, and with beautiful materials.”

And speaking of beautiful materials, the designers experimented with three new textiles—calf, patent, and shearling. “We love the patent, personally,” they confess. “It’s really fun, and it’s great for color.” The offerings won’t be available for another six months, but we’re already giddy with anticipation.
